The City of London Beadles' Guild

It is a great honour to serve as Chairman of the City of London Beadles’ Guild in 2026. I am immensely proud to hold this historic office and to represent a body whose members play a vital role within the traditions of the City.

For centuries, Beadles have upheld the customs, ceremony and order that underpin the life of the City’s 114 Livery Companies. Our role is both practical and symbolic: we ensure that ancient traditions are preserved while supporting the smooth conduct of modern civic life.

I look forward to working with fellow Beadles to continue safeguarding these unique and valued traditions.
