Shaun James the Beadle of the Musicians has completed  an inspiring 80-mile journey along the historic Pilgrims' Way from Canterbury Cathedral to Southwark Cathedral, with the walk culminating on his 60th birthday.

Following the ancient route made famous by Geoffrey Chaucer's pilgrims, the challenge began at the shrine of Sir Thomas Becket in Canterbury before winding through the picturesque countryside of Kent and concluding with the traditional crossing of London Bridge into the City of London.

​

The walk has been undertaken in support of UNICEF UK, raising vital funds to help ensure that every child has the opportunity to survive, learn and grow up safe, regardless of where they live.

 

Thanks to the generosity of family, friends and supporters, the fundraising total is now close to an impressive £10,000.
