James Hasler is one of the City's peripatetic livery Beadles currently serving 6 companies as their regular Beadle and often standing for colleagues when needed.

He has been a Beadle since 2015 starting with The Marketors in January of that year. He feels it is an honour to carry out this role in the City where upholding both traditions of the past but moving with the times are essential. To this end he worked with no less than 12 companies during the pandemic getting the nickname of "the Zeadle" as he produced countless numbers of events on Zoom for many in the City.

Tall and with a personable but commanding presence James has a great sense of fun and is a welcome sight for any Master, Wardens, Liverymen and the Civic Party."
