I am a retired Metropolitan Police Officer having served for over 30 years, largely within The Special Escort Group part of the Royalty Protection Command. In 2008, I completed The Knowledge of London to become a Licensed Black Cab Driver. I am also a Fellow of The Guild of International Professional Toastmasters.

Having worked throughout London both a Police Officer and as a Taxi Driver, the workings of The City of London remained largely an enigma to me, sparking my interest in what exactly went on behind those Livery Hall doors, and in 2018 I applied for and was selected as Beadle to The Worshipful Company of Curriers.

My two other companies soon followed. I had always planned and now enjoy the benefits of this portfolio career which keeps me active, and allows me to continue practicing many of the soft skills obtained during my police service.
