Spence has been the General Manager at Vintners' Hall since November 2024.  His duties include Hall facilities management, Hall security, numerous Company committee memberships, ceremonial duties along with the day to day management of the Hall supported by the Vintners' Company Beadle.

Prior to taking on the role as General Manager, he served a 38 year career in the Army, covering various ranks and appointments which has prepared him well for his current role; a job which he thoroughly enjoys.

Married to Clare with four children and a dog between them, their interests include horse riding and being an amateur DIY enthusiast.
