The Beadles of the City of London were granted the rare privilege of having their official passes stamped for one night only, allowing them to leave the Square Mile and journey to Portsmouth for a memorable evening aboard the historic HMS Victory.

Moored in Portsmouth Historic Dockyard, HMS Victory is best known as Admiral Lord Nelson's flagship at the Battle of Trafalgar in 1805. The magnificent first-rate ship of the line was launched in 1765 after six years of construction at Chatham Dockyard. Built primarily from English oak, she carries 104 guns and remains the oldest commissioned warship in the world, serving today as a treasured symbol of Britain's naval heritage.
